I have seen this mentioned in someone's post a while back.

 

If anyone has used it can you explain exactly how it connects/interfaces with lockon/DCS, please.

 

I am thinking of having a try...

 

But not sure how to go about it....

It's a simple HID (Human Interface Device), doesn't need any special drivers, has up to 32 buttons and 8 axis. You can set up everything directly in game or (for buttons) use a software to turn button presses to keyboard presses and create profiles (Joy2Key, Keymapper).

if I understand you I do not anything in the simulator

but using the controller will simulale keyboard strokes.

 

do you know how will this work with the anaolog inputs?

I believe it will show as a joystick. So you just map the axis and buttons inside Lockon/Blackshark.
