colubridae Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 I have seen this mentioned in someone's post a while back. If anyone has used it can you explain exactly how it connects/interfaces with lockon/DCS, please. I am thinking of having a try... But not sure how to go about it.... rergagds Col
Bwaze Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Homepage of Leo Bodnar, maker of BU0836: http://www.lbodnar.dsl.pipex.com/ It's a simple HID (Human Interface Device), doesn't need any special drivers, has up to 32 buttons and 8 axis. You can set up everything directly in game or (for buttons) use a software to turn button presses to keyboard presses and create profiles (Joy2Key, Keymapper). 1
colubridae Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Tnaks bwaze fro prompt help... if I understand you I do not anything in the simulator but using the controller will simulale keyboard strokes. do you know how will this work with the anaolog inputs? Many thanks Col
LazerPotatoe Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 I believe it will show as a joystick. So you just map the axis and buttons inside Lockon/Blackshark. Also check out the A-PAC controller from Ultimarc, and my SIM Panel tutorial (in my sig): The Ultimarc A-PAC page Cheers, 2 LP modules: F5-E / A4-E / A-10A / AJS-37 / SA-342 / UH-1H / Ka-50 / Mi-8 / CA would buy: OH-58 /AH-64A / AH-1 / Sepecat Jaguar / F-111
Kuky Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 I am using this controller for my switches, it's very simple to setup really. On Leo's website is everything you need to know on how to connect it. No longer active in DCS...
