Yes, pitch trim is the only trim that works, but it had up/down/reset.

The enhancement mod has nothing to do with flight model or the EFM.  Which is why you have to copy those two folders over.  All of the same control bindings are present.  The enhancement mod changes the pilot interface.  MFD's PMFD's adds new functionality and graphics.  Adds new weapons and capabilities but none of that has anything to do with how the jet handles.  Those values in the F22.lua that are still referenced are the same as the EFM mod.

I'll test and see, but if someone could explain to me how the enhancement mod could affect take off behavior, it would at least give me a place to start as it doesn't make sense to me that it would or could.

Yeah I wondered that too - how it can affect into it. THOUGH noticed that also in EFM 2.1.0 rotate is pretty darn fast. Update log says something about low speeds+ landig + pitch problems, wonder did they change it somehow, and with ench mod the speed is faster and does something weird? Maby it thinks its in the air? 😄 dunno. BTW, sidenote - Is there any way to use ench wpns only + efm mod? Have wondered that before. (just for my own server thingamobs)

Couple of things.  I talked to BHoop and he said to make sure you used the new entry.lua file that I included with my enhancement mod.  It removed a line about the center of mass that is now controlled by the FM and BIN/DLL.  If you still have an older entry.lua or one with that line, it could be messing things up.

And yes, if you want just the weapons and stuff but none of the new displays, copy the entire "cockpit" folder from the stock EFM and overwrite mine.  That folder has all of the systems, pages and graphics under it.

You can open up the weapons\stores\a2a_missiles.lua and search for "loft_factor".  Right now they're set at the default, same as stock missiles.  However, in the past, adjusting that has helped with the issue you're describing.  Do some testing and lest us know.  I'd suggest trying 3.0 vs 4.5 which is the default.

I tested for a while and the "loft_factor" doesn't actually seem to be what's causing the missiles to miss according to what I'm observing. It looks like it's more because the missile doesn't go "pitbull" or track when approaching the target.

Here's what I've observed: it misses by maybe a few hundred feet when coming down from the loft, then it attempts to loop back to the target. (It goes pitbull after passing the target I'm assuming.)

Btw, changing the "loft_factor" didn't seem to change the behavior of the loft.

Then this goes back to what's already been stated a few times in the last week or so.  The core missile code has been having issues since 2.9.15 or somewhere in there.  2.9.14 seems to work pretty well.  All of the added missiles use the core missile code which we do not have access to and cannot influence for good or bad.

I've had pretty good luck in 2.9.14 but that doesn't change anything.  If the core missile code has issues, all missiles will have issues.  It's not the fault of the EFM mod, the enhancement mod or anything else related to the F22.

Hmm. Does somebody else has problems with autotakeoff? Everything goes fine though plane doesnt pull, ofc It works with hands but anyways it doesnt make pull up when gettin into right speed, as it used to. Also noticed suddenly pitch trim works also (should it?) Plane seems to fly straight still in the air itself whatsoever, and even msls seems suddenly now work again - more or less. Also had great difficulties to land the plane 🙂 (THOUGH same landing difficulties were also in clean EFM so that might be just them altering landing stuff (as there was in the change log). Anyways autorotate works with clean EFM, but not with enchancement mod. Can somebody reply this "problem"?

I noticed the same. Autorotate is broken

Tested autorotate, it works fine.  So, you either didn't wait long enough, or you still have an old entry.lua file with center of mass information.  The current enhancement mod has the correct version.

-------UPDATE 250608
Continued work on the FCS page
I wasn't satisfied that the LEF indicators didn't do anything so I found a way to get them to indicate from -10 to 45 degrees just like the real jet.  LEF's are tied to AoA and automated in the EFM.
Relocated the new LEF indicators back to the top but keeping all left to the left and right to the right.
Added a new FLAPS indicator above the SPD BRK that will indicate Normal = Green, Moving = Yellow, Down = Teal.
Tested Flaps with gear and takeoff modes and all indicators are working as intended.

you Sure it isnt just the normal "cursor on + kneeboard + change view" - it sometimes leaves cursors or hides it.. Dont get me wrong, this just crossed my mind first, not that ppl didnt know that or it couldnt be the mod itself. I battle with that cursor leaving on the screen ON pretty often, but few times have also lost it. Though not lately.

*UPDATED 06/08/25*

SEE THE END OF THIS THREAD FOR UPDATES OR CHECK THE README.TXT

SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS FIRST POST OR READ THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED IN THE ARCHIVE.

*DISCLAIMER*  - This is NOT a new version the F-22A Raptor mod by Grinnelli Design's.  This an addon to the newly released EFM version of the Grinnelli F-22A Raptor mod by Branden Hooper that overhauls the pilot interface and adds multiple additional weapons and stores.  I am NOT by any means taking credit for any of the works of the aforementioned team(s).  Without them, there wouldn't have been a mod to mod.  I originally started this "project" to modify the F-22A mod to my own liking.  Afterwards it was suggested that I make the changes available to anyone else that was interested.  It is not a repack of the mod and still requires the flight model and the EFM binary to work.  No slight is intended towards the original mod or its creators.

I've been very fortunate to have participated in the testing of the new EFM TVC add on for the F-22A mod.  That mod is now available for download.

I've spent quite a bit of time and testing to update the Enhancement mod for use with this version.  See the readme(s) for details and credits and install instructions.

See below for links to the updated enhancement mod along with optional liveries and other add-ons.

The enhancement mod requires the EFM Raptor v2.1.0 F22 mod.

Thank you to the Grinnelli Designs and EFM team(s) for all of your hard work in bringing this mod back to life better than ever!

F-22A Squadron liveries.  These are consolidated into four large zip files that contain liveries for all 195 Raptors.  Some have different versions of some aircraft at different points in their life cycle.  A good example of this would be the Raptors of the currently deactivated 7th FS from Holloman AFB.  Those aircraft were later dispersed to various squadrons.  Some corrections have also been made to other aircraft. A special thank you to @Texac for allowing the use of his livery template for these!

AIM-120D-3, AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM Combined v1.2 from https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3343056/

Procedure:

1. Download DCS Aircraft Avionics file and extract into your DCS MAIN Game folder, not your DCS SAVED GAMES folder.  These files are required to use any third party mods that use the F-15C or other Flaming Cliffs avionics.  Without this, the F-22 will not load properly.
Example:  .\DCS World OpenBeta or \DCS World

2. Download F-22A Github EFM v2.1.0 and extract it to a TEMPORARY LOCATION.  You will copy three folders out of it in a later step but you do not need this installed.
Example: Downloads folder

3. Download F-22A Raptor Enhancement Mod and extract it to your DCS SAVED GAMES folder, NOT the MAIN Game folder.
Example: .\Saved Games\DCS

4. Required:  From the F-22A Github EFM v2.1.0 F-22A folder, copy the BIN and FM folders and paste them into the F-22A folder under your .\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\F-22A  The mod is now installed.

5. Optional:  From that SHAPES folder you can delete any file that DOES NOT START WITH F-22A OR R-73U.  These files are not needed.  The F-22A files are the model for the Raptor, you DO need those.

6. Optional:  Download the DCS RWR Symbology mod and extract it into your DCS MAIN Game folder, not your DCS SAVED GAMES folder.  These files will add many custom aircraft (like the F22), and missiles to the RWR display.  Without this, unknown aircraft show up as <U>.

7. Optional:  Download the Liveries sets and extract them to whatever location you wish to keep your livery files.
Example:  .\Mods\aircraft\F-22A\Liveries\F-22A under your DCS SAVED GAMES folder.

8. Optional:  Install the AIM-120D-3, AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM Combined v1.2 mod to your DCS MAIN Game folder, not your DCS SAVED GAMES folder.  This will replace the AIM-120B with a 120D and improve the 120C's performance.  The F22 isn't supposed to use the 120B but it's in the loadout options.

DCS RWR Symbology.zip 11.79 kB · 12 downloads DCS Aircraft Avionics.zip 9.9 kB · 7 downloads

BTW... step 4. Should I still Copy also the SHAPES folder? (says only BIN + FM this time, though continues with SHAPES "stuff.."

FYI, unless there is something special about the new F-22A.EDM file, I suggest using the old one from 2021.  The normals are now working again in the new file BUT the model is not welded at the centerline and causes a major visual abnormality.  The same thing is present with the new LO drop tanks.  It causes DCS to render a shadow at a hard line instead of continuous and makes what should be a smooth surface with a hard edge.

See images below.

IMAGE 1 = Original 2021 EDM.  You can see the nose is smooth and there is no line.

IMAGE 2 = EFM v.2.1.0 EDM.  You can see the hard edge which should not be there.

With changes to the landing gear code, it created an opportunity to add that functionality to the Systems page.
Added three landing gear indicators and adjusted the countermeasures location on the system page along with a system message that is the lowest priority message that will be displayed.  It will be superseded by any other system message.
Minor change to the check list page to indicate which list is being displayed, though they are both the same currently.

Adjusted missile code for improved accuracy

The new model has new details and corrections.  I've not had any issues with it.  And the LO drop tank was created by Spino and heavily modified by me.  The vertices are most certainly welded along the centerline.  It's not two separate halfs.  The texture I used to create the tank was derived from the IRST pod, as was the pylon.  That said, do whatever you want.
