Shein Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Title says it all. The mission where you do the joint exercise with the polish F-16s for the first time, has an incorrect map picture in the FRAGO pics.
Shein Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Also, same mission the F-16's attack the final rampant APC with their M61 instead of a maverick like they say they will
baltic_dragon Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Thanks. As for the pic, I'll replace it. As for the attack - this is AI being AI, they have everything set in the ME to attack with Mavs. As long as they shoot with anything, I am happy. If I start tinkering with it, it may cause extra problems... For more information, please visit my website. gomslork Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 The briefing picture is correct within the mission, but before the mission starts, it's showing the map for the previous mission. The weapon loadout also seems to have changed in this mission. Briefing talks about saving one GBU-12 on each plane, but there are no GBU-12 loaded. Wingman talks about having 12 dumb bombs, but only 6 are loaded on his aircraft.
baltic_dragon Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Thanks, an easy fix. The GBU problem is from certain times when AI was unable to hit anything with a laser guided bombs so I swapped them to JDAMs and forgot to swap back probably For more information, please visit my website. Blackbird7 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 There is still wrong text, briefing remarks have note "Leave one GBU-12 on each of the airplanes". But I have only dumb bombs at start. I had big problem with detecting AAA group attacking the city, I ordered wingman to attack and he started bombing forest and getting kills. I zoomed in the spot, switched FLIR/CCD, but I could see only trees (and smoke after bombing). Is this intended to be so hard (impossible?) to spot those targets? Maybe I have to reduce/increase tree details to better see such targets? Or I have to rely on wingman to spot for me. Later in Tacview I saw they made few short bursts towards the city. Should be easier to spot if they would fire more than once every few minutes.
baltic_dragon Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 @Blackbird7 thanks, I'll check the briefing and kneeboards for this one. As for spotting the ground targets, not much I can do. Don't want the enemy to be dumb and stay in the open when he has places to cover.. Try to turn the labels on the minimal settings, it will show you red dots if you are close enough. baltic_dragon Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 @Blackbird7 indeed there was a mix-up when assigning loadout for this mission. Instead of 2 GBU-12s I added 2 Mavericks for the A-10C2 version. Now fixed, thanks! 1 For more information, please visit my website. If you want to reach me with a bug report, feedback or a question, it is best to do this via my Discord channel.
