Shortly after the start of the training mission, - after the phase "Now set the MFCD on the MAV page - OSB-14", the training mission stops and training cannot be continued!   See enclosed Prt Scr.

All other training missions work without problems.

Please correct the named training mission in the next update DCS World-stable.

Does not seem to be fixed yet. Getting back into A-10C (II). Swap no longer possible.

Will have to find other training... Cheers-

Strangely, while I cannot use the swap MFD function in that training mission, I can use it in a campaign map I downloaded.

I was able to modify the A-10C II Maverick Training mission to fix the problem. I simply changed the commands to use the left MFCD where the MAV page can be accessed. I haven't flown the entire mission yet, but I was able to get past this error. You can download my modified mission file using the link below, or perform the modifications yourself.

If you want this modified mission to show up in the "Training" list, you'll need to either (1) edit the lessons.lua file in the ..\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C_2\Missions\Training folder or (2) rename the file to use the file name of the original mission file. But the easiest thing to do is to just put the modified file in your Saved Games > Missions folder.

This has already been fixed in the latest OB.  In any case, you can get round this by clicking AND HOLDING any of the bottom OSB buttons. you can then customise whatever you want to show on these buttons.  So, just click on MAV and select the appropriate OSB button.

Ironically, the A-10C II MAV TM is not fixed in OB, so you have to do the workaround above to move on.  However, I suspect this is an admin thing as if you look at the list of TMs attached, you'll see there are 2 missions including the Mav one that are extra and look to me that they just haven't been renamed correctly.

UPDATE: Just tried it, and no it is still not correct.

I'm going to try that one out and see if it works OK. Sorry, I'm getting a bit OT.

Hmm, just checked my Stable version, and the mission has been fixed and works OK.  See attached.

Sure you guys are running the latest Stable? 59625 here.

I checked my version and it is 59625, but the mission is still referring to the RIGHT MFCD for the MAV page. Very strange that yours appears to be working correctly?? I also noticed that the date on your MIZ file is 04/01/2021, whereas mine is 12/30/2020. Should also mention that I use the stand-alone version of DCS - wondering if only the Steam version was updated??

It might be good to post your MIZ file on the DCS User Files page for those of us that do not seem to have the latest version - I posted the corrected one I did, but the one you have is the what we need. Thanks.

I'm on standalone.  Looks like the A-10C TMs in my Stable install are identical to the OB ones in terms of byte size.  Not sure if the installation process just copies them across.

OK - I suppose those with the uncorrected file can use mine until they somehow receive the DCS-corrected one - thanks.

Still seems a bit weird that we have different missions.  Stating the obvious, but have you tried a repair?  Maybe delete the missions and repair?

Well, it was a good suggestion, but after the repair I still have the same problem with that TM. Weird...

It is weird, but, as I said above you can easily progress by doing what I suggested, i.e. click and hold any of the lower right OSD buttons till the menu comes up, then just click on MAV and click on the appropriate button you want to move it to, i.e. 14.  The mission will now progress.

What I suggested above still works OK for me.

Yes, I managed to work it out, though you said to hold any of the lower right OSD buttons. It is all but not the lower "rightest" one which I tried when was following your hint 😀

It is steep to learn even without such errors in mission

(just figured this is not a10c2 bug forum but topic is probably on 2)

Cheers
