Can't seem to IFF now

Hey been about a month since I flew the Viper, but now TMS left doesn't seem to IFF. Is this a bug, or a change to the IFF in the viper?

TMS L short will IFF whole scan, Long L with IFF within the bar scale. Have you got IFF In/Out mapped to HOTAS and somehow turned it off?

It kinda works but I always have to IFF several times to get a response (I know it was a friendly jet from F10 map but either TMS long or short doesn't give me back a friendly response the first time I interrogate. Usually the 2nd time works, which is strange.)

IFF isn't perfect. IRL you have set rules for targeting. For example you may be required to complete 3 IFF mode 4 scans before engaging.

Yeah but initial scan always failing seems like a bug to me.

AFAIK the IFF In/Out is used for IDM not IFF interrogations. Out being A-A DL and in being Transmit A-G cursor position or sending steerpoints and markpoints.
