the message you are getting in the logs indicate not being able to reach the server to connect. not that you are being refused because of the wrong version.

this is the other post. see if there is anything you have not tried. also see if you can do an IPCONFIG/ALL and post the results.

this indicates that you are getting DNS from your router. have you tried to power recycle your internet equipment?

Thanks @Flappie, I've rebooted my router and flushed dns. I'll try some more flying now. I have been saving the dcs.log files so I'll give it a day or two and report back with progress. Appreciate your help.

You should open a support ticket: log into DCS website, click Support, then click Create a new ticket.

Give them a link to this thread.

Thanks @Flappie, I've now submitted a ticket after running the repair tool and seeing no improvement. Will update thread with any progress.

I have a similar issue, except the client just hangs in the "loading..." screen (the one before displaying the loading bar) for a while then the screen gets black. The only lines in the log that smell of anything are the following:

2023-06-17 23:41:40.818 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): disconnected: 5 Server ping timeout
2023-06-17 23:41:40.821 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): disconnected from server
2023-06-17 23:41:40.875 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): client has stopped

I have all services greenlit outbound in my firewall. This has been an issue since the last open beta update (2.8.6.41066)

@enjOy   Hi, you should update Windows 10: your version is 3 years old.

Have you tried rebooting your router?

Yes, no effect. All services are allowed outbound on my firewall. Also tried install repairs and full reinstalls to no effect. Will try to update Windows 10. As mentioned, last open beta version worked fine.

Bumping as I found a solution for my particular problem: It had to do with fiddling with UDP burst rates and UDP connection timeouts in my firewall.
