Art-J Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Yes you're supposed to keep the cowl flaps closed above 250 mph, otherwise they cause buffeting. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

It is even better limit is 225mph at 250mph plane shakes like crazy. Spurts Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Do the cowl flaps being open also cause it to snap stall violently in a turn? I'm not pull very quickly into it, less quickly than even the Mustang, but it just snaps around and fully departs.
