I was wondering when the stable version might get an update. I am starting to wonder if having a stable version is viable anymore as the Open Beta version seems pretty good and many are turning to it.

I realise that it is supposed to be for testing, but updates and fixes seem to be coming thick and fast for it just like other games that have problems. So wouldn't it be a good idea to drop the Stable and just have the Open Beta and keep fixing it as normal? Wouldnt this save a lot of time for ED and the developers?

I will be downloading the Open Beta and forgetting the the Stable version from now on. This isn't a rant, just putting my point across.

Cheers

It wouldn't save 'a lot of time for ED and developers', as it is just a OB build that has been deemed stable enough to call it 'stable'.  They are not separate development branches.
