reported AIM-54 not going active?

Someone was having an issue with AIM-54's not showing up on the Su-27's Berioza. When I checked, the missile never went active. See TRK.

 

In another test, without the launching aircraft being destroying, from the cockpit it looked as if the missile guided in on TWS.

Whats the status on the fix? Seems to be an FC3 issue as the F-15 also suffers from it.

After the fix it all worked great, latest update 2.7.2.7910.1 made the AIM-54 no show on RWR.

 

I've bunch of people that told me the same thing again and again, it goes like this:

I get launched at, I'm not getting any RWR warning for most of the time, and when I do get a warning it's about half a second before impact.

 

I really love the Tomcat and it really sucks seeing not being able to use it. I fly with XSAF almost every evening we fly around 15 guys on our custom mission.

We always liked the idea of having the Tomcat as our enemy because its is play ground after all (We play on Syria map).

We had to remove the Tomcat again because we don't see a reason to have it if it doesn't have the AIM-54.

 

Because of that I had done some test to see and check what's the cause of that.

 

First I built a mission, the mission setting when clear sky no weather interference.

The F-14 AI was a F-14B at 35,000 feet going Mach 1.0 armed with the AIM-54C-MK47 heads on at a distance of 110NM.

 

I checked both the F-15C and F-16C. The mission was running on a MP and a SP and I only got 1 result,

always the F-16C got a RWR but it got it the moment it was launched and the F-15C didn't get any at all. Although I wasn't able to get the result I wanted on the F-16C I still come to find my self getting killed by silent AIM-54s.

Also I tried to reach out to the community to figure if anyone else has experienced it and has some recordings of it.

One person named FzK had told me he experienced it as well and he had a Tacview recording of it. He flew the Tomcat and he told me that it had happened to him 3 time that day.

He had sent me the recording and he explained to me step by step what happened.

First go to 30:55 and locate a player named "SHARK 1-3|FzK", he explained that he had shot his AIM-54 at a F-14 enemy and then started to crack to the right, so it might seem like he is defending but it's cracking to drag the enemy missile in case one was launched at him. He said out of nowhere he had died with no RWR warning or a jester warning.

My conclusion is that FC3 aircrafts are effected the most and in SP it's impossible to get that result flying a aircraft that isn't a part of FC3.
