Is there a snowballs chance in Hades this might be in the patch tomorrow?

I think this might have been fixed. I tested a quick mission late last night in Persian Gulf and I noticed a very small amount of movement that stopped once I got the engine running. This was with the Huey and I was sitting on the Tarawa mind you but the ship was moving at 10kts.

I think this might actually be fixed now!

I've just tested it, cold and dark on the Arleigh Burke going 30kts with a 12kt headwind. Let it run for 10mins and its no longer nudging forward.

There is a little sliding forwards and backwards but its pretty much centred around the same spot so doesn't come into contact with the ship.

If someone else could test it to confirm. 🙂

Having the same experience as you. Seems to slide around in a small circle but in the same location - not constantly in one until it falls off the ship. Looking encouraging!

I agree the deck sliding is now fixed when the Huey starts cold.

Yet:

  1. It still moves around when started hot.
  2. The pilot view still shakes like crazy when started cold.

Thanks Flappie - confirming too that I only tested cold, not hot.
