cannot reproduce and missing track file no steering

I have engaged nws by selecting s on keyboard and try to steer using z or x but unable to steer

Need help on   what is missing

Make sure that the NWS status light that sits to the right of the HUD and right over the DED is lit green.  That will verify the NWS is actually engaged.  If not then it could be a binding issue or something similar.

If you're going to use X and Z, make sure nothing else is assigned to your rudder.

NWS button on the HOTAS also corresponds to the missile step function so when you do a AGH-65 boresight and use the step button to activate another missile NWS will be (dis)abled depending on the prior state. The only way to be sure NWS is enabled is by the NWS light on the right indexer (right side HUD). When starting in low light condition the light might be off. Use the slide in the right side of the indexer to increase brightness.

Had the same problem (FA Hornet) spent 2 days trying to work it out, it shows clearly on the Hud after pressing S on the keyboard NWS yet not responding in game, add the command to the joystick and it will work
