DCS won't launch after this update, I tried uninstalling the update and that didn't fix it, I tried repairing DCS and that didn't fix it.  Going to reinstall the OS now.  Hope I can save you some heartache!

Hello, try renaming your dcs folder in saved games "C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta" to DCS.openbeta1 for examle, you have some mods here and try run dcs again.

Don´t worry about your configs they are still in renamed folder. In case it still dosen´t work delete new folder that dcs created and rename your "old" dcs folder back to DCS.openbeta so your configs are back and contact support https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/.

Nobody is going to look at that here. You need to post this in the bug report/support section.

Same here. Sounds like something going on with your machine. Have you checked your anti virus settings?

I figured it out!  I was running an older revision graphics driver (better FPS!) but apparently it is no longer compatible with 20H2.  If I download the latest driver from AMD it works fine.  I have a Vega64 and sadly the best driver for it was in 2019.  Anyways, I am back up and running just short a few FPS.

This is definitely not a DCS issue, definitely a windows driver compatibility thing.

Thanks for the help.

I have the same issue as well. Are you using and AMD Card?

My machine just updated itself last night with this new feature set.  I had actually seen this thread and seen that most didn't have issues so didn't worry about it.  Neither the stable nor beta versions work for me now.  It just sits on the DCS loading screen even though after a few seconds I can hear music.  I have a Vega 56 and currently have the November 2020 WHQL driver; I believe there are newer beta drivers available but nothing suggested in Radeon software.  I have a few mods active in the open beta version, but nothing in the stable version, so it can't be mods.

Update: running a full repair on the stable version fixed it, even for the open beta version.
