would be nice but A10C's arent equipped with that missile In real life, so why should they be in DCS?

That's not how it integrating weapons works. JHMQS is used for a whole lot more than off-boresight AIM-9X shots, which for the most part are really, really not relevant to the A-10's mission anyway.

It is actually a SCORPION HELMET. It is much more than what you see so far in DCS. An Aim9X would no doubt find its way onto an A-10CII and work well with it.

For this Helmet the Patent is quite recent, it is so recent even the Aim9X is yet to be tested with it on the A-10CII so it is very good of the USAF to allow ED to model the latest version.

AIM-9Xs will come to A-10s when there's no more AIM-9Ms to carry probably.   The A-10 might even leave service before this happens.
