DmitriKozlowsky Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 AIM-9X Block I (or any block) for A-10C 2.0
Kev2go Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 would be nice but A10C's arent equipped with that missile In real life, so why should they be in DCS? 2 1 Build: Windows 10 64 bit Pro Case/Tower: Corsair Graphite 760tm ,Asus Strix Z790 Motherboard, Intel Core i7 12700k ,Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 64gb ram (3600 mhz) , (Asus strix oc edition) Nvidia RTX 3080 12gb , Evga g2 850 watt psu, Hardrives ; Samsung 970 EVo, , Samsung evo 860 pro 1 TB SSD, Samsung evo 850 pro 1TB SSD, WD 1TB HDD
DmitriKozlowsky Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 I thought they were, once JHMQS was deployed onto fleet.
TLTeo Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 That's not how it integrating weapons works. JHMQS is used for a whole lot more than off-boresight AIM-9X shots, which for the most part are really, really not relevant to the A-10's mission anyway. 2
SUBS17 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) It is actually a SCORPION HELMET. It is much more than what you see so far in DCS. An Aim9X would no doubt find its way onto an A-10CII and work well with it. For this Helmet the Patent is quite recent, it is so recent even the Aim9X is yet to be tested with it on the A-10CII so it is very good of the USAF to allow ED to model the latest version. GGTharos Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 AIM-9Xs will come to A-10s when there's no more AIM-9Ms to carry probably. The A-10 might even leave service before this happens. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
