Maksim Savelev Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Hello everyone! Im having an issue with force feedback in a F-14 module. If the F-14 is the first module Im running after the DCS is fired up everything is perfect with the force feedback. There is no any force feedback at all on a stick If Im starting F-14 after any other module in DCS. Does anyone else with the force feedback devices have the same problem?
DD_Fenrir Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Yes. Been like this since release for me with a Microsoft Sidewinder 2 FB. It also affects other modules - if I jump in a Spitfire after having flown the F-14 first (with functional FFB in the Cat) then all FFB effects disappear in the Spitfire. Restarting DCS solves the issue temporarily - until I fly an F-14 second or a Spitfire after an F-14. 1 1
fat creason Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) This is likely a DCS bug. All we do is send the FFB interface a couple parameters if a FFB device is detected by the DCS controls interface and that's it. RustBelt Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) This is weird, but set strength to 99 not 100. I never have this issue but I went to 99 a while back when there was another issue and never changed it. Edited January 28, 2021 by RustBelt 1
Maksim Savelev Posted January 29, 2021 Author Posted January 29, 2021 Thank you Gentlemen! Now I know that Im not alone). And I also will try to set strength to 99% . Thank you!
