0414 Wee Neal Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Hi on the last update on 27 Jan 21 I get the above error. I cannot access DCS. I attach my logs for any help please? Neal dcs.log Desktop PC: Intel i7 14700K, MSI Z790 MAG Tomahawk MOBO, 64Gb RAM , GPU Nvidia RTX 3080ti Windows 11, VPC joystick, Crosswind rudder peddles, HP Reverb G2, VPC Collective, DOF Reality H2, Gametrix seat, WinWing panels.
Sarge_DL Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) I got the same error today. Will keep an eye on this thread. I put Stable back on and I can get into that one just fine. But no joy with Beta after today's update. I deleted the Beta version and reinstalled it. No joy. I moved my saved folder under users so the Beta could create a new one, still no joy. 0414 Wee Neal Posted January 28, 2021 Author Posted January 28, 2021 Hi I reverted to the previous beta version and everything worked fine. I also tried the syncing of the clock as well. Defo a problem with latest update. Flappie Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) It seems your stored login/password association is screwed. Try this: Empty this folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta Delete C:\Users\username\DCS.openbeta\Config\authdata.bin Delete C:\Users\username\DCS.openbeta\Config\network.vault You'll need your login and password to log into the game. I moved my saved folder under users so the Beta could create a new one, still no joy. So, my setup is a little different. I'm running a Mac Book Pro (my wife was gifted from her boss, I'd never buy one). I have windows on bootcamp running. Sure enough, this afternoon after I couldn't get Beta to launch, I switched over to the Mac OS, did a big OS update, back over to windows and Beta launched and ran fine. The Mac OS update was the culprit for me.
... Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I have unsuccessfully reinstalled after removing DCS content from local / temp folder and deselecting time zone sync. Same error: 400. I keep waiting for new news. https://launionescuadron.webnode.es/
Bl1ndBadger Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I got this also. Fresh install does not fix it, setting the clock does not fix it. With the stable version (not the beta) it works fine. Together with some others I submitted my log files on discord last night. They are working on it.
Flappie Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 ED devs have found what's wrong. They are working on a fix. ---
