CommandT Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Position/ Nav Lights on Mirage 2000 aircraft that are flown by AI/ other players are ridiculously bright after latest patch. And they seem to just become 10 times brighter all of a sudden at a certain range. Looks absolutely ridiculous!
=36=Witcher Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Yes, something must have gone wrong with the LOD definitions.
Myleniskaya Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) Hello, yes Im there to see any report of this problem. Not only nav-light, formation light is EXTREM brig too and no difference between Faible / Fort intensity I hesitated to write this message in bug reports, i guess razbam will read here ? RAZBAM_ELMO Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 LODs were adjusted for better visibility at greater distances as they nearly disappeared. VR users had it even worse. 1 Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass. — Dave 'Preacher' Pace, USN.
reptile92 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 and as a VR user, I can confirm this improvment is great
reptile92 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) i don’t think it ws intended for VR. In my team, light visibility in night was difficult for all. VE enhance visibility issue Edited January 28, 2021 by reptile92
Dragon1-1 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I often had airliners pass by my house when coming in to land at the local airport. Position lights are very bright. The strobes are so bright that you only turn them on when you take the runway, otherwise they're downright painful to look at. After all, being visible from very far away is the entire point of those lights. That said, they should not be so visible during day, and the dimmer switch should be functional.
davewhite Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) Really a pity that the Mirage now looks like a UFO/Disco from a distance and during fly by view. Disco.mp4 Edited February 6, 2021 by davewhite

Screenshots: +1 Daytime brightness is definitely too intense. What's more, the intensity is low when the other Mirage is close to my wing and suddenly jumps to high intensity when the distance increases. Plus, the intensity is much higher than on the other plane types, making the Mirage look out of place.
