So I had an issue the other night attempting to use GBU-12, I changed the profile from CCIP to CCRP. I then tuned on the auto-lase and set a time for it. Then I saved it. I did this once before take off. I then went to drop a bomb and found that everything was reset to default. I changed it again and saved. I used another weapon I either a Maverick or APKWS then went back to the GBU. It was reset to default yet again.

Please provide a track or a video.

A common pitfall, however, would be to select a weapon station from the DSMS instead of selecting a weapon profile by cycling them with the DMS switch while the HUD is SOI. Selecting a weapon station from the DSMS uses a manual profile, denoted my "M/" and then the name of the weapon.

I don't have a track of that particular flight, I'm probably flying later I'll save one if it happens again. I was using the DSMS though. I wasn't aware of that

Agree with Yurgon.

The same issue used to mystify me.....untill I learned to set the profile up as per what you have done BUT when selecting the weapon make sure HUD is SOI and not in GUN mode then use the DMS button to select weapon of choice.

When you manually select a weapon station in the DSMS it uses a default generic profile rather than any user edited or created profiles.

To select a specific profile you've set up you need to actually select a profile rather than a weapon station. You can cycle active profiles with DMS left and right while the HUD is SOI, or you can go into Profiles in the DSMS and select Activate Profile.

Yeah, this is what I always do.

OP always make sure that if you have set-up a profile, make sure you've selected it in the profile page and hit ACT PRO otherwise it'll use the default.

Can I confirm what plane you are flying. A10C or A10CII?

When changing your weapons profile, are you making the profile the active profile prior to making those changes then saving them. Always check the profile changes before confirming everything is correctly entered.
