When I click on the DCS World icon on my desktop, I get the following error: "DCS.exe - System Error" " The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." The following activities have been completed - Tried running the repair installation utility using "Check all files" and "Search for extra files after repair?" - Removed DCS world, rebooted PC and Reinstalled DCS - Three Times - Tried running DCS as administrator - blocked the antivirus from scanning the DCS program and saved game folders Your advise / solution is appreciated. shagrat Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 In your C:/Program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/distr/ folder should be two vc_redist.x64.exe. These will install the Visual C libraries, required, though I am not sure, why it did not launch them during install in your case.
