WilkzPolski Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Hi all. My question is about this pisture: http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=18694&d=1218085471 In LO it was detailed scenery near Caucas and Black Sea but North of scenery was flat and empty. Is this posible to have the same detail level of all region showned in scenery map?? PS. Satelite Photo ingame will make me enjoyed... and maby some screenshots of scenery from 3000ft :D (Sorry about my english if something was incorrect :)) My dreams for DCS or/and next modules: 1. Poland added to country list 2. Su-17(22 - Plolish v.) 3. Turkey, South Osetia, Afganistan Sceneries 4. DX10, 2X Dual Proc compatibility 5. Full dynamic campaigning with no FPS hit :D:joystick::pilotfly:

VMFA117_Poko Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Is this posible that in BS or next module N-E map will be detailed??There are limitation of the old engine, i heard. No option now, not yet.
ED Team Wags Posted August 18, 2008 ED Team Posted August 18, 2008 There is a finite number of objects/polygons that can be used to construct a world in the existing TFCSE engine. As such, the creation of the the new Georgian terrain and increased terrain detail resulted in the inability to include the Crimea in DCS: Black Shark. We simply cannot add new terrain without taking away terrain detail from somewhere else. This will be addressed though when we transition to the new engine. HUAF-074 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 (edited) What do you think about from Microsoft ESP? I think this is the best simulator engine (platform) now for developers. Brit_Radar_Dude Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 ........ inability to include the Crimea in DCS: Black Shark........This will be addressed though when we transition to the new engine. Looking forward to the new terrain in BS, but good to hear that you hope to add back in the Crimea in the future if possible. I'd miss flying over all the nice historical monuments that you went to the effort of modelling. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
