ruddy122 Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I love the F-16 one of my favorite planes but in DCS it can get frustrating when CCRP is not pointing where it should. CCRP combined with the CBU-97 is a deadly combo for the enemy. To combat CCRP to point to the Steerpoint you have to tweak the F-16 in Mission Editor. I make it in Mission Editor to takeoff from rwy. CCRP works. Ignition Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I had a problem yesterday when in nav mode the steerpoint 5 was in a different location, whenever I changed to AG the steerpoint was correct but in nav still pointed to an incorrect location. I used the wp 5 before to strike that area and then changed the coordinates of that same wp to strike another target.
Frag Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Just for my own knowledge, not challenging the op at all... What is the advantage of CCRP over CCIP with the CBU?

CCRP alows for higher (level) altitude drops, which is generally safer if there are MANPADS and AAA around the target area CCIP delivery is the most accurate method of delivering unguided munitions, but in order to be precise, you need to be in a shallow dive, thus putting you in harms way Planes: Choppers: Maps: Flaming Cliffs 3 Black Shark 2 Syria A-10C Tank killer 2 Black Shark 3 Persian Gulf F/A18C Hornet AH-64 Apache Mariana's F-16C Viper Afghanistan F-15E Strike Eagle Kola Peninsula Mirage 2000C AJS-37 Viggen JF-17 Thunder F-14 Tomcat F-4E Phantom

Thanks for the answer. You just brought a new question to my head, but I will start a new thread no to hijack this one.

You must rocker away and back to an updated SP to “input” the new coords [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
