Tomcatter87 Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 Yesterday I created a strike mission involving multiple aircraft. The player is in one of the last aircraft that is being launched. I encountered a problem: After taxiing forward from elevator 3 in my F-14B to cat 1 or 2, the catapult crew just stands around, the plane director doesnt do any gestures. The ground crew radio command "request launch" doesn't change anything. Strange thing: After I contacted the ground crew via rearming menu, the "request launch" command worked again. I had the ordies yelling at me via radio because I taxied away, but at least I was able to take off. Anyone else having the same problem? r_vandenbroek Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 We have this issue with our Wing as well. On mission start, a recovery helo, a viking and an E-2 depart. Only some of us get a reaction from the ground crew when lining up on the cat, but it feels very random. This is with Hornets as well as Tomcats. Yeah known issue, just not worth a hotfix I guess, because it just affects nearly all navy-based DCS-F/A-18 Squadrons,... but how much player can the be,... I think the answer is maybe three,....
