Bobstar Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Quick one for you VR Gurus out there. Suddenly, my monitor is showing 2 identical VR pictures on my monitor. All is well in my G2 headset and it doesn't seem to effect anything? What have a done/touched to make this happen, I'm a little confused? It's probably very simple but, being a VR newby I can't seem to figure it out! The other issue while I'm here is that I can't overlay another screen in VR like I could in 2D, what am I doing wrong?

Bobstar Posted April 21, 2021 Author Posted April 21, 2021 When I first ventured into VR there was one representation of what I see in my VR goggles on the Monitor, now I have 2 representations, side by side on my monitor? As if one is the left lense and one is the right? The overlay I'm referring to, is that in 2D I could overlay the F18 manual and such like over DCS to read up on things as I was flying. In VR I can't do this.
baco30 Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Since 2.7 there's a new feature... From main screen open DCS settings page, VR Tab, down on the left there's "Mirror Eye Source" probably selected on [BOTH EYES]. If you select RIGHT or LEFT it will go back as it was before. Cheers baco30
ShaunX Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Have you perhaps clicked "both" on the VR settings page ? I'm assuming that would be the result 1 RYZEN 5900X | 32GB | ASUS Strix RTX3090 | 500GB NVMe OS 1000GB NVMe DCS | Warthog HOTAS | HP Reverb G2 | VA & ViacomPRO My DCS Apps: Radio KAOS for DCS KB Quick - Quick and Easy Kneeboards

Bobstar Posted April 21, 2021 Author Posted April 21, 2021 Thanks, I thought it may be a VR thing? I'll stop trying to do it now!

You could use AlaskanGrizzly's Kneeboard Builder. It allows you to import an entire PDF manual which is then available in it's entirety or selectively via your kneeboard in VR I believe there are also other kneeboard generation apps which allow for the creation of simpler kneeboards RYZEN 5900X | 32GB | ASUS Strix RTX3090 | 500GB NVMe OS 1000GB NVMe DCS | Warthog HOTAS | HP Reverb G2 | VA & ViacomPRO My DCS Apps: Radio KAOS for DCS KB Quick - Quick and Easy Kneeboards
