REFORGER Campaign (Supercarrier)

Sorry if this was already addressed.

 

Decided to try the campaign and am one the first mission with the carrier quals.  I'm assuming something is supposed to be triggering because nothing seems to be happening after I've done my three landings.  I've looked at some videos on Youtube and it seems that my RIO should be briefing me after each landing but nothing happens.

Iirc you were supposed to fly 7nm along the BRC after every launch.

Hi.

Anyone got an idea how to get past mission 5?

There does not seem to happen anything. After I pass WP3 I should make a CAP between WP2 and WP3 and thats it. Nothing else happening, other than the odd SAM-launch, if I venture too much east at WP3. No Migs ever in sight. At least not on my RWR or Radar.

The Hornets just fly circles and never attack. And I cant even refuel, since there is only a BoomTanker around.

Any ideas? Thx.

RE mission 5: a trigger with weapon in zone broke in 2.7, I should have a fix uplaoded by tmrw evening. My apologies for the inconveniences.

Dear all, please download the hotfix for mission 5 here. Apologies again for the inconveniences, indeed the name for the Talds changed slightly and broke the trigger.

So what about mission 1? I made the first trap and that was the end of it. Taxing back to cat 1 did nothing for me, as the (supercarrier) crew were just standing around twiddling their thumbs. Am I missing something?

You need to request launch from the ground crew again maybe - if you are playing the SC version. However you should have heard Jester comment on your landing. Did you fly out as supposed to? You may have turned back too early, and not hit the 7nm. Follow the instructions and pattern closely that Jester gives you. If you don't, the trigger chain won't work.

I did hit the 7nm (Jester told me to take a turn). He also commented on my landing). How am I suppose to request launch from the crew again? (I did check the comm menu but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary).

There is a command to request launch or takeoff. It’s under the ground crew selection.
