Hi,

I've a few modules and installed the A10C II today and I cannon bind my keys as I wish to as certain options are grayed out. See image attached with the yellow box around it.

How can I "un" gray these areas so I can apply the keybinds?

I've other modules installed and set-up with a lot of custom key binds so not in a rush to reset everything!

Thanks for any help

The joy button that are showing up in you screenshot are for mfd 1. The button for mfd 2 do not necessarly show up in the same line for mfd 2. Scroll up or down to see if the button assignment for mfd 2 show up.

I don't follow you.

I've three MFDs and need to the move the assignments from on to another as that's how they're laid out in real life.

Click on mfd 2 at the top of control panel then use mouse wheel,  or up and down key to scroll to see if the joy button's are assigned. Do the same for 3rd mfd

For some reason ED locked the MFD on the A-10, I do not understand it and has been an issue a very long time.

@FOXFIRE TWOONE; yes there's somethings attached but not as they should be.

@=Panther=What! That's nuts. Ok thanks for confirming its an issue. I guess I could work it around to change the others back. No justification was even for same no? Has it been logged as a bug?

I lost track on the conversation but a search of the forums revealed numerous reports of the them being grayed out. I do not have a work around solution that doesn't involve a complete redo of the setup. Maybe a post in the aircraft forum specific section and ask for help. Maybe someone has a solution, or a bug post can be started.

Didn't need to start another thread. Found the solution fairly readily -

Left is 1, right is 2 for the A10C. I've three so set the third as 3. Its probably broken all my bindings for the other aircraft but I'll get over it! Thanks for the help all.

Wow that is my video, but wasn't aware that is the fix for the grayed out commands. Very good to know.

That's what I do.

In <DCS>\<plane>\Input\<plane>\joystick, delete the device-specific profiles for F16 MFD 1 and MFD 2. Can also copy the bindings from one into the other. It's where DCS finds a device-specific profile in that folder, and then that will override the default joystick profile.

I think mostly the harrier gave me this issue. For other modules, it's fine, maybe it was harrier module when I transitioned from 2mfds to 3. I even changed the name of them, using mfd left, right and ampcd

But does the above not work for both of you too? Changing it Windows settings?

Just had the issue where both MFDs were labelled as "1"....  Could not program the right MFD at all.  It was only allowing to be set as left (which was already programmed to ... the left)!

72hundred's linked video worked for me, so thanks very much.  Was about to set keybinds and then program the right MFD in joystick Gremlin!
