Beh non direi considerata la produzione della Caproni, secondo me potrebbe essere un G55 piuttosto che un' altro aeroplano della serie "5" anche per un rapporto diciamo di equità prestazionale considerato che quelli tedeschi e anglo/americani presenti in DCS sono modelli apparsi verso la metà/fine della guerra 😉

Beh non direi considerata la produzione della Caproni, secondo me potrebbe essere un G55 piuttosto che un' altro aeroplano della serie "5" anche per un rapporto diciamo di equità prestazionale considerato che quelli tedeschi e anglo/americani presenti in DCS sono modelli apparsi verso la metà/fine della guerra 
Era venuto in mente anche a me il Centauro, a dire il vero ho detto Caproni perché mi aspettavo lo spillone come risposta visto che era stato chiesto un aereo "storico"

Beh l'aeroplano storico come lo intendi tu è già stato annunciato e cioè proprio quello oggetto di questo thread, io mi riferivo ad un velivolo della WWII italiano dove in effetti la scelta non manca a livello di modelli disponibili e il Centauro sarebbe davvero tanta roba.

 

Poi certo anche lo Spillone sarebbe un gran bel regalo anche se personalmente non credo che lo vedremo, se mai lo vedremo, tanto presto.

Immagino sia presto per chiedere ma ci provo lo stesso:

sono in previsione le versioni R/1,  R/3, R/4? o solo R/1? Poi sarebbe bello sapere se è scelta la R/1B o no.

Ci sono diversi indizi sparsi per il forum, specialmente sezione mod and apps sulle versioni...

Attualmente però non possiamo annunciare nulla di ufficiale 🙂

Today, June 2nd 2021, is the 75th Anniversary of the Italian Republic - and we thought there was not better day to announce our second commercial project for DCS - since, in real life, it was one of the biggest successes of the Italian aerospace industry.


DCS G.91


The G.91 is an Italian jet fighter aircraft of Cold War era designed and optimized for Strike and Recon missions. The G.91 originates in the NATO NBMR-1 competition in 1953, which sought a light fighter-bomber "Light Weight Strike Fighter" to be adopted as standard equipment across the air forces of the various member nations. 


The G.91 was declared winner of the competition in 1958 and entered into operational service with the Italian Air Force in 1961, and with the West German Luftwaffe in the following year. It was also evaluated by the U.S.Army and adopted by Portuguese Air Force, who made extensive use of the type during the Portuguese Colonial War in Angola and Mozambique.


We will develop the following version: R1B (Italian version), R3 (German Version) and PAN (aerobatic version converted from the A version).
We have no release window at the moment - and needless to say screenshots are preliminary.

Un lavoro semplicemente strepitoso, non ho più parole oramai per farvi i complimenti, bravissimi 👍

E la notizia che i tempi di sviluppo saranno più brevi di quelli del 339 è la classica ciliegina sulla torta come si suol dire.....

Indiafoxtecho - Quick update on our DCS World projects

While our DCS coding department is working hard on the MB-339, our art department has made some progress on the G.91, so here are a couple of renderings of the cockpit: we are prioritizing this part of the model as we think it will create a solid base for the rest of the development process.

We are quite happy with the results so far and we are looking forward to add the G-91 to the family of Cold War DCS fighters.

No vabbè ragazzi, spettacolare, veramente stupendo.

Ho il sentore che il seguito naturale sarà effettivamente uno Starfighter (anche se immagino che il G sia il più papabile essendo quello più esportato e il più centoquattroso di indole) anche se però non sono sull'hype train del 104, sono molto di più in quello di Tornado o un bell'AMX (che per altro è il successore spirituale del G.91) o F-84F.

Concordo sul Tornado, molto meno sull'AMX, ma il fascino dello Spillone va oltre...

G.91R introduction

It’s with great pleasure that we inform you of a new project coming from third party developer, IndiaFoxtEcho. This will follow the soon to be released DCS: MB-339. Please check out the details of DCS: G.91R below.

IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulation is developing a full fidelity module in four versions:

  • R1B (Italian version) with four 12.7 mm Browning M3 machine guns and two underwing hardpoints.
  • R/3 (German Version) with two 30 mm DEFA M552 cannons and four underwing hardpoints.
  • R/4 (Portuguese Version), hybrid version between R1B and R/3 with four 12.7 mm Browning M3 machine guns and four underwing hardpoints.
  • PAN, aerobatic version converted from the A version for “Frecce Tricolori” Aerobatic Team.
