Aye - No offence intended, but that is pretty poor

Post your system specs......would be a good indication as to how far you can tweak - having said that, with today's processors you can pretty much dolly it up to the max without breaking a sweat.

It looks like you're just flying over a part of the terrain thats flat and uninteresting.

Installing the LOReloaded textures and some better skins for the planes goes a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way. :pilotfly:

I have clicked "high" on Lock On graphics menu and it still looks like this: http://hene.daug.net/test/ScreenShot_000.jpg

My computer specs:

- Intel Core2 E6550 @ 2,33Ghz

- ABIT IP35-E

- Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB

- 2 gb of RAM

The mod you should install first is Enhanced Terrain for FC (made by Ruggbutt), ect.... hams31.gif

/ Note: you may not enable all shadow for objects with Dx10 card such as 8800GTS. Im running a Dx9C video card

No problem !

Ruggbutt wrote that in his comment for the mod on Lockonfiles

The Enhanced Terrain (in yellow color in Modman) still works fine

Isn't there two terrain mods? One just mods the summer textures and another finishes it off with the other 3 seasons...I am at work so I can't go looking in my modman atm.

You also want the tree visability mod. In fact if you look in here you will see an entire post of pretty much the best mods:

Oh, Full Shadow, full shadow !! :D

lower this setting to All Planar, your problem will be fixed

Shadow setting at Full level works fine with ATI video cards with Dx 9C supported

some Forceware drivers for Nvidia DX 9C cards make it looks like your pic

/ Cloud bug is VGA driver issue also, i think so

Yep, full shadows ;)

I set it to All Planar, but it didnt help. So.. What nvidia drivers I should have?

EDIT: Installed nvidia drivers 169 and clouds works perfect!

Hi!

The screenshots look like you have AntiAliasing turned off on your video card.

Try turning it on and select Quality Mode. That way you get clean and sharp graphics!

I'm always fascinated by how good the LOMAC graphics can look with proper setup (and HW of course).

Force Anisotropic Filtering in the graphics driver control panel to x16. This will make all textures sharper and more "grainy". Ground terrian looks much better with it.

PS there is absolutely no preformance loss from this.

Specs: GA-Z87X-UD3H, i7-4770k, 16GB, RTX2060, SB AE-5, 750watt Corsair PSU, X52, Track IR4, Win10x64.

Sim Settings: Textures: ? | Scenes: ? |Water: ? | Visibility Range: ? | Heat Blur: ? | Shadows: ? | Res: 1680x1050 | Aspect: 16:10 | Monitors: 1 Screen | MSAA: ? | Tree Visibility: ? | Vsync: On | Mirrors: ? | Civ Traffic: High | Res Of Cockpit Disp: 512 | Clutter: ? | Fullscreen: On

What on earth are you smoking?

No need for anything over 4x, and I think 16x will make a difference to the FPS, but it does depend on your graphics card.
