I cannot seem to get the sight to move. It is like the thing is locked into place.

I have done the following steps as per the manual.

Aux Stores Lights (not sure what this actually even does)

Turned on my ASP-17VP sight.

Turned ASP-17 sight to auto

Made sure the weapons selector was on OFF/MSL

Switched on the Weapon Safety Switch in the Pilot-Operator cockpit

Verified the ATGM sight control was set to OPER

Turned on Missile Power Switch

Turned on the ATGM sight power and guidance unit panel

Turned on the OBSERV (verified doors opened)

Selected a missile.

I used keyboard commands ;,./ and an axis on my joystick (and yes I did check for conflicting axis inputs). Sometimes the sight will move a bit but then it just snaps back to where it was despite what direction I bump it.

Anybody else having this problem?

Hello, in Control Settings, go to "Mi-24 Aiming Sight" and remove Joystick, mouse, and rudder axes assignation. After that you can assign what you want to move 9k113 sight.

I already did that. As stated I in my original posts "(and yes I did check for conflicting axis inputs)".

That only lasts 10 - 15 seconds

I have the same Problem.
Funny is though when i quit the game it worked shortly.
Then I noticed what was going on, even though i cleared out all Axis when setting up somehow, the exis on the Warthog throttle remain maped.
Also Saitek Rudder brake axis remain maped but not visiable in ui, same goes for a Button Box with 5 Dials, ... they are all mapped, but i can not unmap them......I tried pressing clear on all of them, but does not matter

I think I found the Problem try looking for the M24 Aiming station not mi24 SIM and delete the controls from there.
The aiming station in MI24SIm references the lua from the AIming station...:-D hope it helps
