DCS unusable after 2.7.3 update

My update of 2.7 stable to 2.7.3 with my modules took 12 hours. Many of my settings as well as generic settings were erased. For one there is no option of an axis command for the L/R/U/D view – it can't be linked to HOTAS. I had to reprogram my HOTAS commands. The only aircraft in the Marianas is the F18 with only instant action – all my others are blank.

 

I ran the fast and slow repairs. No change.

No problems here - downloaded the beta yesterday with stable already previously installed.  'Stable' is 2.7.2; 'Beta' is 2.7.3.

 

Think during the install I had a small window pop up asking if I wanted to copy modules across (or something along those lines) - to which I selected yes. All key bindings etc all good. Only thing that differs is my pilots logbook - which to me is no biggy as I only tend to use the beta to check out new features.

Depending on the module - the missions are not yet added/created. The known modules with Instant Action missions for Marianas are F-14A/B, F-15C, F-16C, F/A-18C.

You can look at the User Files for new user created missions for any aircraft:

You can also start a mission yourself in the Mission Editor.

 

If you already have Marianas installed it means you have DCS Open Beta v2.7.3, not stable.

It's most certainly a typo. Even if we had such ridiculous speeds, there are no drives to handle these

One other thing to mention - and not sure if it affects you - is if you have MSI Dragon Centre installed it also installs a 'network optimiser' - which is is bit of a lie. It managed to slow my connection down from 138mb/s down to around 2 - which might explain your lengthy download?
