Mission 1 message wouldn't clear and I accidentally selected skip mission

A little bummed that the "storyline of this campaign is not linear" message would not clear allowing me to view the F10 radio options list fully. I selected the first option and it ended the mission then, which is not what I wanted :(. I could read the F3 option "Request divert to tanker" but wasn't able to read options F1 or F2.

That message clears when you select one of the options. When you select the radio menu it appears above the black message which shifts down so I’m not sure what you mean. Can you please send a screenshot?

Sure, here ya go - hope it helps. I eventually figured out what the other menu items are but the first time thru it was very confusing.

Wow I’ve never seen that before. The black message should automatically move below the radio menu. It’s not mission related but possibly a dcs glitch, as these things are hard coded in the game. I’ll keep an eye out for this, and if it happens I’ll try and report to ED.

@NineLine have you seen anything like this before? In VR the triggered messages don't move below the radio menu when it's opened.

I just bought the campain and had the same issue. I waited ages until it went away. Too long, as suddenly my Tomcat went rather quiet when I was just behind the tanker

 

Edit: No VR here, just plain monitor.
