Vekkinho Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Hi all, I have a small question on jets like A-10, F-16, F-15, MiG-29, Su-27 and other flyables from LOFC! I'd like to know how those planes look like in DCS:BS? Are 3d models upgraded or same as in LOFC?! I only saw screenshots of new Tornado so posting screenshots with planes mentioned above is very welcome! So all you who already play DCS please post some fast movers screenshots! Thanks! to be Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Hi all, I have a small question on jets like A-10, F-16, F-15, MiG-29, Su-27 and other flyables from LOFC The F-16 wasn't flyable in LOFC, and of course none of these are flyable in DCS: Black Shark. I would guess they look the same, but I suppose some screenies wouldn't hurt. Has anyone tried to see what happens if you set Flyable:Yes on other helis? What about jets?

SuperKungFu Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 To answer your question Vekkinho since the Russia Black Shark is out and people should know, No, none of the planes you listed have new models. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
159th_Viper Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 No, none of the planes you listed have new models. Has the SIMMOD A-10 not been incorporated into BS? If not - are there any plans to incorporate it into DCS:HOG? Would be a crying shame to have a High-Fidelity Flight Model strapped to the current default model (no offence intended to the makers of the default A-10 model). Or are there plans for an independent new model? Alas.......and so the foraging for new info pertaining to subsequent modules start afresh.......:D 1 Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Vekkinho Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 OK thanks for the info! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SuperKungFu Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 No sim-mod A-10 has not incorporated into BS and cannot be added. Even though it looks good in your eyes (and we of sim-mod thank you for that), I know there's some flaws so it wont be included. But rest assured of course with any new module coming out from ED, of course their will be a new high quality and accurate model. You don't see the stock Ka-50 model from FC in BS ;) Basically ED is setting a standard, the same amount of detail and attention that you saw in BS will be in all future modules. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

New jet models are Tornado IDS, Tornado GR4 and AV-8 Harrier but they're non-flyable jets :D many other 3D models are vehicles Edited November 2, 2008 by Majesco
