AH6OY Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Not sure if it's been suggested already to add drones to ground forces capabilities. It could solve arty fire observation and targeting. The whole gambit of intel collection to figure out the phase lines also. For motivation make it a Combined Arms feature so it would sell more to guys wanting to blast away flying around. The self stabilizing and FLIR couldn't be resisted. 4
Flappie Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 (edited) You're talking about player controlled drones, right? Edited August 27, 2021 by Flappie ---

It's what the game designers figure they would want. Although a seperate group could make a module either a player could fly from an airfield or use in CA. It's up to those guys not the daydreamer.
Flappie Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I'm asking because drones are already implemented, and I'm pretty sure one can use them as a CA feature to recon/strike (I never tried). 2 ---

Haven't used the game for weeks but I'll check that out. Never seen the option on game servers. What's really disappointing is the game not having an instructions PDF including complements of vehicles needed for air defense like launchers and their needed radars, fire control vehicles and reload vehicles. Depending on youtube videos if uninformed stabs in the dark at times is an awful way to learn wasting a hallf hour suffering through at least one of the video makers characters. :) 1
