speed-of-heat Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Can you give us some context, why do you think this is a VR bug? from the sound of it you need to bring up the COMMS menu first usually the \ key and then select F10 and then select easy medium or hard… SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat

There is no window to select easy, medium, or hard. You must open "communication menu/radio menu " first. With the correct key bind for the module you're currently in. Without opening the menu it will take you straight to the map. Hope this helps! Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
Baldrick33 Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Yes it is somewhat confusing terminology. The F10 menu is a subset of the comms menu. The F10 branch is customisable by mission builders and is often referred to as the “F10 Menu” but as stated above it is accessed from the comms menu. Press the key assigned to comms menu, then F10 to see the options available. 1 AMD 5800X3D · MSI 4080 · Asus ROG Strix B550 Gaming · HP Reverb Pro · 1Tb M.2 NVMe, 32Gb Corsair Vengence 3600MHz DDR4 · Windows 11 · Thrustmaster TPR Pedals · VIRPIL T-50CM3 Base, Alpha Prime R. RealDCSpilot Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Don't forget, the comms menu is also clickable with mouse or HMD cursor (with left mouse button binding on HOTAS). i9 13900K @5.5GHz, Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master, RTX4090 Waterforce, 64 GB DDR5 @5600, PSVR2, Pico 4 Ultra, HOTAS & Rudder: all Virpil with Rhino FFB base made by VPforce, DCS: all modules

That only works with the use mouse option off, which leaves an HMD cursor visible at all times. Personally I find that annoying preferring to just see it when I want to interact with the cockpit. With use mouse on the comms menu uses a separate (round dot) cursor which requires the mouse to access. I guess it comes down to preferences but I would prefer the HMD cursor to work with the comms menu with mouse on, just as it does with every clickable component.
