reported KC-135 landing light spots into skies

as can be seen in the picture, the KC-135 at take-off shows its light (landing light?) pointing into the skies.

Looks like you saw this from quite some distance away. Does this also happen when the camera is closer to the tanker? Might be a LOD issue.
