Erdem Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 (edited) The center mirror angle is off, which causes it to show inside the cockpit and not the rear view like it's supposed to. Default view: How it's supposed to be, if you can tuck your head under VDI. Edited September 12, 2021 by Erdem
captain_dalan Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 What if the angle is that way so you can use to monitor the wings? 1 Modules: FC3, Mirage 2000C, Harrier AV-8B NA, F-5, AJS-37 Viggen, F-14B, F-14A, Combined Arms, F/A-18C, F-16C, MiG-19P, F-86, MiG-15, FW-190A, Spitfire Mk IX, UH-1 Huey, Su-25, P-51PD, Caucasus map, Nevada map, Persian Gulf map, Marianas map, Syria Map, Super Carrier, Sinai map, Mosquito, P-51, AH-64 Apache, F4U Corsair, WWII Assets Pack
Spurts Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I use the side mirrors to check my wings, I use the top mirror to make sure I still look as cool as I feel. Joking aside, I agree that the mirror is less useful than it could be at this point.

The mirror doesn't work like in a car, it's not meant to show you what the enemy behind you is doing, it's supposed to show you what your aircraft looks like. The angle is fine. I can see the wing sweep and visually confirm my Flaps/DLC deployment (instead of that awful indicator in the cockpit). The position that you showed is not very helpful. http://www.csg-2.net/ | i7 7700k - NVIDIA 1080 - 32GB RAM | BKR!
Erdem Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Then what about the RIO mirror? Is it meant to show whether if the paint is chipped off or if there's bugs stuck in air vents? Those mirrors are meant to show what's behind you without breaking your neck, not your own aircraft. The mirror angle can be adjusted IRL,they should give us a way to adjust them. If you want to stare at your wings, that's fine. But I want to check my six.

Thank you so much. This is basically compulsory for F-14 drivers and I only just stumbled upon it. Little things like this can make a huge difference to immersion and enjoyment overall. Don't suppose there's any chance you can get the engine fire extinguishers working is there?
