Create a WP from a target designation or from a markpoint?

Can I create a regular waypoint without having to input the coordinates manually? I.e. can I copy the coordinates from another waypoint or markpoint - or even from a target designation?

You'll be able to create a full WP by slewing it on the HSI, once Waypoint Slew becomes implemented. (DATA->WP->Actuate and hold TDC->Slew over desired position->Release TDC).

I use a program from the user files called "TheyWay". I recommend to check that out. I fly the Hornet and it saves me tons of time.

Can you provide more information? Perhaps a link, or at least some context about what "TheyWay" actually does. Also a few searches in the user files did not turn up anything useful for me.

nice  app  but  whats  the  difference  than  adding  wp's  in  ME looks like  its  the  same  methord  other  than its  called steer points?

It lets you create the waypoints while the mission is running.
