Legioneod
P-47D never used 72", that was only for the P-47M and P-47N with the C series engine. Highest manifold pressure P-47D used officially was 70"
grafspee
And i tested it you can push for 70inch :), don't know for how long but you can Same with P-51 it was tested at 75inch but 72inch was set as max boost for combat units, thing is that mustang IV had 25lbs boost which is something like 80 with same engine So if our P-47 is limited to 64inch, i think 70 is in range, provided that carb air temp is below red line Edited October 30, 2021 by grafspee System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
Barrett_g
Now that DCS has given the ability to “restrict” certain weapons…. Couldn’t fuel octane be treated the same way? Let us have the ability to use 150 octane in single player if we so choose… and the server admin can restrict it in their server if they so choose!

grafspee
150 octane fuel advantage was only in Max MP, overall 130 is much better. Problem is to properly simulate engine running on 150 fuel. 150 had significantly much higher spark plug fouling issue.
