Mr_sukebe Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Quick question for other Mossie pilots out there, any issues since the today's update on take off? Just tried taking off fully loaded (max fuel and x4 500lb bombs) from Tangmere. 3000rpm, 12lb of boost, 10 degrees of flaps, and no, ran out of runway. Just looking for feedback at the moment. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
razo+r Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Have you tried using a longer runway and or more MP?
Mr_sukebe Posted October 20, 2021 Author Posted October 20, 2021 Not as yet. Just working my way through our new toys from today's update, to understand the changes. The "full load" was deliberately to see if it made take off harder. It did. I picked Tangmere as one of the longest Normandy map runways, as it's also concrete. Rather expected it to be fine. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
P3CFE Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Definitely longer runway needed after de last the update. Don't know if it is correct and should be like this...but it has changed for sure..

Makes, sense, I was just trying to ensure that it was a good as it can get on the map. I wonder if this is accurate or not? 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

The T/O weight at that loading has increased by about 2000 lb. Use 18lb @ 3000 rpm max T/O boost. .. ASUS 2600K 3.8. P8Z68-V. ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080Ti, RAM 16gb Corsair. grafspee Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 @Holbeach Exactly heavy weight, short airfield, why not use max power System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
