Hi, Would appreciate some help here. When following the path to delete etc XXX  mods>terrains>caucasus>misc>metacache> dcs  [I get base] instead of dcs

Does this make a difference if dcs or base ?

I deleted the base file, restarted and activated ReshadeVR_sharpen_color and allowed time to re populate. DCS ran well but when I went to check there were no META2 files in the metacache folder, yet the sim ran !!!

I am a loss to know if I am still running on the old vanilla shaders or the new reshader [which I downloaded sometime back]

Will be happy to have help via AnyDesk or TeamViewer to check if all folders/files correct correct

Thank you.

Thanks, I am talking about the terrains folder in main game. Its different to the fxo and metashaders2 in saved games, the ones you are referring to.

The terrains folder should also be deleted [so I am told , to improve fps]

Ah, that's interesting. Never heard of that solution before.

All is normal. It happens.

Just a heads up, I have not had the chance to update UwU for the new terrains folder structure. Thanks for mentioning the directory. I'll post when updated.

Yeah. Deleting metacache helped me few months back when there was "everything's too bright and overexposed" problem, corrected by patch. Still metacaches had to be deleted.
