Helihover Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Hello, I am not able to control the mouse on the menu screen on DCS. Only 1/3 of the lower half of the screen is usable. Try to move the cursor, which is a dot, above this level and it stops. This means I cannot start the game but all clikable menues (like Exit, modules etc). within the "frame" is clickable. This is with VR glasses (HP Reverb G2. If I start the game without VR it works and I can navigate the whole screen with my mouse. Anyone have similar experiences - and solutions? Win+y is enabled and tried to no effect.
RED Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Does resetting the wmr environment and using the DCS centering helps? I have the problem that I cant click stuff anymore when there was an admin prompt after launching steamvr. Then i not to tab out, hit window key to brink up the wmr menu, wiggle the mouse and hit window key again. All good after that. Win+Y option disabled
Taz1004 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Turn off mouse confined to game window under VR options. Better Smoke - Better Trees Caucasus - Better Trees Syria - Better Trees Mariana - Clear Canopy Glass
Helihover Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Thanks:) I found the culprit. Somehow the screen resolution in DCS was way off (like 42xx X 19xx). Sooo, when changing that to a correct value it was all good:)
Willie Nelson Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 I’m having this problem too and I haven’t changed any SteamVR resolutions at all. The two suggestions mentioned did not fix it for me. i7700k OC to 4.8GHz with Noctua NH-U14S (fan) with AORUS RTX2080ti 11GB Waterforce. 32GDDR, Warthog HOTAS and Saitek rudders. HP Reverb.
BARRYGUN Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 I have solved the problem of the mouse cursor being confined to one quadrant of the screen by changing the resolution. At the game resolution of 1920 X 1080 (16:9) I could not move the mouse cursor from the top left quadrant. I have changed the resolution in VR to 1600 X 900 and also to 2560x1440, both also 16:9 and the problem has been resolved. Hope that helps.
