FrostLaufeyson Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 To be precise, when I use the Xbox One S controller, I press Alt+Tab to switch to another window and switch back to DCS in any way (either by clicking the mouse or switching back by Alt+Tab). There is a random probability to trigger this problem. Because the Trigger button of my controller is bound to the throttle of the aircraft, when using and releasing the Trigger button under normal circumstances, the throttle should stay at half the position. When the controller is not connected, switching windows won't trigger this problem. All the aircraft I own have this problem (including FC3, F18, A10), so it shouldn't be related to the aircraft. This bug is very annoying. When I configure the aircraft on the ground, I may need to consult the PDF manual. When I switch back to DCS, my aircraft will randomly trigger this half-throttle bug, causing my aircraft to taxi out. When I cruise at a certain speed in the air and want to switch windows to communicate with other chat tools, switching back will also trigger this bug. The Steam version of DCS will open the Steam built-in window when Shift+Tab is used to open the in-game chat box. At this time, closing the built-in window will 100% trigger this bug. Again, this problem occurs only when the controller is used.
Art-J Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 What happens when you switch between "synchronize controls etc." option in misc. menu On and OFF? Maybe that one would help. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Maybe that one would help. This option is turned off by default. I've turned it on now, but after some tests, it still can't solve the problem. In addition, this problem will not occur after I unbind the trigger on the controller from the throttle. But I had to use the trigger.
Flappie Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I might have a solution for you: in DCS, set a deadzone of 50 on the trigger you're using for Throttle axis. Now, you will control the whole throttle course ith one trigger. Please note the second trigger won't be usable. ---

However, in this case, when I cruise in the air and switch windows, the throttle will return to 0%. I want to find a solution, not an alternative. Still thank you for your idea
