correct as is Flares don't do anything

As per the title, the flares don't actually light up the area around them. instead they're just useless pieces of fireworks. Would be nice to have some actual illumination from them to make them actually usable!!

The ones with LAlt+1/2/3, they shoot up and give light, but the actual ground area around them is not lit up by it, unlike say the SUU-25 parachute flares. I will be able to provide a track near the end of the week if still neccessary by then

I am not sure those are meant to be illumination flares. More so signal flares, I will have to dig into it a little bit.

Yes, those are coloured signal flares.
