marzzz Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Hi i noticed a little thing with the ATFLIR when i select a waypoint designate (WPSDS) , i can’t slew the pod whereas it is possible with the litening To slew the pod , i had to undesignate the waypoint (and go to snowplow ) or go to the scene track this little difference between ATFLIR and Litening is normal or a small bug ? Thanks
TheCoyoteHunter Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Not sure if its a bug or not, but here is how I work it. I designate a waypoint (WPSDS), push undesignate and then TDC depress. Then you can slew. I was always wondering if it was little bug like you mentioned. Tholozor Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 After you WPDSG, assign the TDC to the FLIR page and use TDC Depress. The crosshairs in the seeker window should switch to a diamond and you should be able to slew. marzzz Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 i know that just notice that with the Litening no need to undesignate or to tdc depress to slew the pod
VFA41_Lion Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 they're two different pods so I'm not sure how you think a difference in the way they operate is a bug. Regardless I've always been able to slew the pod after WPDSG by changing to scene mode.
