Recent Stutter and Microlag

Recently my openbeta steam DCS has been stuttering a bunch and microlagging, which wasn't a problem a month ago. I suspect it could be cause of the recent hotfix and it messed up my DCS a bit, but I am not experienced with computers so I wouldn't know if it was something wrong with my computer or something with DCS. Has anyone else noticed this?

I haven’t noticed any increase in stutters or lags in the last month (I’m on the current open beta).  Try a dcs repair, but I suspect it’s something environmental on your pc.

@Bennyyy427 share your computer specs too. Your issues could be anything. Also if I understand there is another way of repairing DCS in Steam. It's something like "verify game files". Not sure exactly. You can also go from Steam to Stand Alone. A bit more technical.

I had the same. It was nvidia drivers 511.2x. I updated to 511.65 and low fps and microstutters disappeared.

On older drivers even on minimum settings in Reverb G2, GTX3080, 3700x and 65GB 3333Mhz RAM, fps ranged from 42 to 47, but the microstutters made it look like 20. Now on minimum I get around 55-60.

Endured the same issues after latest patch.

Confirm that you are running DCS in fullscreen - and try the L+ALT+Enter command once ingame to see if any positive effect.

I’ve found one of the most effective things to do when stuttering seems to happen a lot is to rebuild your saved games folder.  Rename your current folder to like Dcs.old or something, and then start the game letting it rebuild it.  Then move things like your inputs and mods back into it to see if that helps.  It has fixed a ton of issues I’ve fought for hours trying to track down.
