Topper81 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 In previous versions of DCS the infantrie units have walked depending on speed. In the current open beta they always seems to run, no matter how slow the speed is set (See track file). The animation looks very bad for that issue. walking_infantry.trk
Flappie Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) If you open the infantry models in the model viewer and try animations, you'll see 4 of them don't have walking animation: RPG-16 AKS-74 Infantry M4 M249 Insurgents (RPG and AK-74) don't even have a running animation. I'll make a request to devs. Edited February 20, 2022 by Flappie ---

I haven't been able to reproduce it myself in the ME though, so I might have dreamt it after all.. Flappie Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Which unit was it? See the differences: the most recent additions have 11 (sometimes 13) animation arguments. The oldest one has only 3. ---

I wasn't able though, to find these dudes: Where do I find these units? Which country do they belong to? Flappie Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 I found them in here: "./DCS World/Bazar/World/Shapes". The first one is "soldier_us_00.lods". I'm not sure it's implemented ingame. I don't remember where I found the second one. Oh, and I forgot to mention the old "soldier_rpg.edm", which has only 2 animation arguments. ---
