My new flight sim channel is growing rapidly, already getting thousands and thousands of hits, so I am feeling pretty jazzed about upgrading gear.  I'm going to order table mounts soon for my Warthog throttle and VKB stick.  I am debating between Monstertech and the VKB Stronghold.  I would love some experience-based opinions. Thanks!

Monster Tech while a bit pricey are awesome mounts. I have two, an extended one I use with my VKB Gunfighter Pro with 200 mm extension, and a standard mount I used to use with my Warthog Throttle and now use with my Virpil CM3 throttle.

Excellent quality and extremely easy and fast to mount and unmount from the desk. I am very glad I went with these mounts.

I have no need of unmounting them. I have a desk specifically setup for flight/space sims. Not quite a pit but halfway there.  Do you think the Monstertech is a better option even if I have no need to move them? I ask because the Strongholds looks wider and deeper, so I am thinking they might be even more stable.

Can't imagine anything even more stable but certainly possible. I would say if no need to remove them then Stronghold would be a fine option especially if cheaper.

Actually, they are all within just a few dollars of cost of each other anymore.  The Stronghold certainly looks the stablest, and the standard set comes with additional braces for a keyboard and tablet or Cougars, which is nice.  Tough choice lol

If you think you would make use of the keyboard and tablet mounts that would be a good choice.

I just picked up some predator mounts. Sturdy and reasonably priced. Great support!  I'd recommend.

The virpil mounts stick out farther from the desk if I’m not mistaken. I use virpil and when I got them, I was surprised at how far away from the desk they put the controls.
it doesn’t matter in vr but with a monitor, it puts u farther away from the screen. I’m not young anymore so my vision at distance isn’t what it used to be lol

Is that a mouse extension you have put in reverse for the orbweaver? nice idea, might have to do the same.

Also what kind of extension do you have on the centermount for the joystick to mount all the MFD? Great setup by the way, looks like a MTX rig?

I used a 4080 aluminum profile fixed on the center support to connect the monstertech MFD mount.

I have the Stronghold Long set from VKB. It is rock solid. I went with it over the Monstertech because it was cheaper and has a ton of addons you can do later (keyboard mount, cup holders, phone holders, etc...). From day of my order to my doorstep was about 7-10 days here in California.

Monstertech is great as well, but imo, they just charge too much for what they sell. I also heard it can take quite a while to get what you order.

If you choose the Monstertech over the Stronghold than get the Foxx mounts or Predator mounts. Almoat the same thing but a lot cheaper. Lol
