JEFX Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Enjoying the campaign even more! After a few missions, I do have a suggestion : you give the BULLS location as coordinates and I am happy to create a waypoint and input it manually, it is fun. But, it would be nice if you did include waypoints for both EAGLE and FALCON approaches and the beginning of their 'corridor' lake Akyatan for the 331 approach and one of the smaller villages near the coast for the 302 approach (I took note of these coordinates and do input them manually in a SEQ2 in my HSI so it is easier to navigate back when above the clouds One question : since we dont have access to the F10 map and there are no waypoints for them in the HSI, how are we supposed to know when we pass above either restricted area? (when above the clouds and no VFR possible?) Thanks again for great fun!! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] In DCS I fly jets with thousands of pounds of thrust... In real life I fly a humble Cessna Hawx XP II with 210 HP :D

The moving map is useful here, this will allow you to work out where you are in regards to the two approach corridors. Once in the corridors I always set a course line for the runway (centered on the Incirlik waypoint), so long as you hold the heading in the approach corridor, the point at which you intersect the course line is Falcon/Eagle. Just note that as far as I'm aware the moving map on Syria/Hornet has been bugged for ever, it worked on all scale settings early on in campaign development but has since only worked on the 5nm scale. Hope that helps!
LemonHazeVHS Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Hi, where can I find the brifing file? I mean the file, what I mentioned below, in the description of the campaing. Extensive, detailed documentation and briefings, including a 98 page scenario ‘intelligence briefing’, 26 pages of SPINS and hundreds of pages of detailed briefing documents.
bushido Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Just Finish the campaign and like it very much. Very good immerssion, plenty of details (like when your aircraft is having an engine issue, on the next mission you can see it will taxiing with mechanics around working on it, nice touch) I find it balanced in terms of difficulty, some mission are tough (I don't like low level mission when its full of sam and AAA and you need to find the target quickly, but most of the time you can avoid that kind of suicidal mission) I did not encounters too many greemlins, just an issue on mission 5 when the triger (A10 has arrived you may depart and the ennemy are firing at us you can engage them and stop show of force) occurs at the same time leading to a weird radio option and a few issue with aggressive migs in the last mission but overall it is solid and there is no major bug or "DCS Bug has break the mission you need to wait for the new Open Beta and cross finger that it is solve". Given the overall complexity of your missions, hats off. The documentation is very well done, the briefing are complete, the knee board usefull and the overall presentation top notch. As stated by someonelse could be usefull to have indication of the north on the picture of the targer for better SA when planning the mission. Voice actor is very solid seems professional (at least for a non english native speaker). I appreciate that important info like Target coordinate remains on screen as long as needed so we are not in a rush to enter it. Also there is enough info so we are never lost like "what shall I do next?" Looking forward for your coming F16 wild weasel campaign. 7 minutes ago, LemonHazeVHS said: Hi, where can I find the brifing file? AMEDooley Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I said this on your discord but this might help someone else. On mission 8 I would add a note saying to stay on Poodle’s left side. This will make the engagement make more sense for an azimuth sort. I was on his right because I had been doing tac turns to keep in formation so I ended up on his right side. Which made the break a bit more challenging than needed. Too bad the script can’t adjust for variables like which side you’re on. But great campaign so far! 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Stealth690 Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Hello hello, I probably won't say anything that has not been said already, but still... I loved this campaign ! I particularly enjoyed the variety of missions, gradually increasing difficulty (M15 and M16 are some tough ones), substantial documentation, etc. M06 is probably my favorite mission. This was my first Hornet campaign: while this module has been in my hangar for quite a while, I never took the time to dig into it before Operation Cerberus North. The quality of this campaign was no surprise though, having flown Operation Persian Freedom before Thanks for all the hard work and dedication, I am very much looking forward to your future campaigns !

Go-Go Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Pretty accurate about Marine ops. The flight plan says 25kft M .75, but they fly at 24k and m .72 and a mile off course. And poodle is a c@nt! 1
DimSim Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Just wanted to say thanks for the campaign. I enjoyed it a lot. Was hesitant to buy another Hornet campaign only because it's the plane I've flown the most and was getting a bit tired of it. But I do have the urge to pound ground and was delighted to not fly from the boat for a change. I try to keep a list of issues to report but encountered nothing worthy of mention here. So can report the campaign is in good working order. I see you've kindly released the start of a Falkland Harrier campaign, so I look forward to getting airborne again. 1
