I think it's a typo (think yeniceri meant 29 not 27)

oh...ups. Dammed right. Theres a mig-27 in LOMAC- I forgot:huh:. Well- It should be a little mistake. Anyways...New Mig 27 or 23 would be pretty nice I think.

Hey, nice idea. I came from EasternGermany-Rostoc´k. Rostock-Laage was the last station for the German Fulcrums before they saled to Poland. Think it should be possible without any wild hacks.

The maintain problem is that I´m not a good designer so I hope that is anyone out there who have more experience in 3D-art. Think I need some years more to learn more about stoff like that. Don`t know....What do you think about that:

As I sad- LOMAC designers made a perfect job and it isn`t easy to build it better without using more polys as LOMACs Migs.

Greetings,

TOM

Well i hope the 3D will have more polygons with good LOD at different distances.. you don't want a high details 3D at 5 km away.. i can say that there are some strategic higher polygons to place for the model to look good but not to high also do not make a textures that is too big, try the smallest with the highest details , not a 4 mb textures if you see what i mean....

Beside this i'm exited to see the model and fly it. .. great work!!!

Thank you very well. Well I used around 18.000Polys for all. It should be the same level as the LOMAC-Fighters. The Textures count same as LockOn. Two 2048x2048 textures for all.

In the past I was very confused about some models with more them 100.000Polys. Okay- looks great in Max and with an LOD model its possible. But I think it`s very importent that you can use the models online.

I downloaded a Su-27 (dont know who builded it-not 3Go) , beautiful work but after I loaded a mission with four Flankers my frame rate broke down to 1 per second. So it wasn`t playable. Arround 240.000 triangles per Flanker- whou! Wich hell pc can handle this load of work? And I`m not able to buy every year a new computer because I`m married and my wife needs all my money:cry:.

Best greetings,

TOM

Hi,

I realised that noone have the argument numbers for the ejection sequence.

First is "pilot+k36.cmd"

argument 0 : pilot leave seat 0-1 (means pilot scale down to "away" cause not possible to delete parts in an argumentation)

argument 1 : stabiltisation parashute on 0-15

Second "pilot_parashute.cmd"

argument 1 : parashute opens 0-10

last shold be "parash.lom"

If you replace it with an new model you will get pretty nice results and an good ejection sequence. It should be a nice info for all modders.

Latest updates you will find here

Its an German forum but you always can post in english. Otherwise here, of course.

Whoa, nice looking pilot!

Keep it up TOM!

Edit:

Not sure how your new ejection sequence looks like but ED made a correct procedure with LOMAC 1.0. If ejection takes place above 5000m pilot remains seated in k-36 until seat and pilot fall below 5000m. So there should already be an argument that controls this one!

Hello,

yes- all works fine. Seat hold pilot and press it out after falling under 5000 metres. The arguments are all hardcoded but if you argument it like above post, it will work.:)

From what i can tell from your Skins file the brackets beween each skin is incorrect. i So wish i had my regular pc at home and i could show you exactly what to do. And if you are doing a skins file for the Mig-29G then you have to give your skins file name the exact same name as the mig-29g.lom file ie...... mig-29g.skins.

Intel Core i7-8700 3,20GHz - EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 - 32Gb Ram - DCS on 500 GB SSD - Windows 10 - Thrusmaster Warthog - Thrustmaster TPR pedals - Track Ir 5 - Samsung Odyssey+

Hm shaggy

This part of .skins file seems to be correct for me :huh:

But i see one "little" thing.

Try to modify your textture name (ex : WrappingMig29 V.1.0.BMP)

in order to make them more simple.

try to don't write any space, prefer "_" or "-"

and don't use any "." except the one for extension

(could make mistake for Lockon ;))

for exemple :

ex : WrappingMig29 V.1.0.BMP could be write WrappingMig29_V1-0.BMP

and you didnot write it here, so i prefer ask for it :)

don't forget the "models" part before arguments ;)

exemple

models
{
lod = {"su-24mr", 1000000};
collision = "su-24-collision";
}
argument

etc etc

bye ;)

Thank you very much. I`ll test it and hope that I find my mistake. Think I should start with "models". Thank you very much.

Tomcatz, I have this small request considering the leading edge of vertical stabs:

In your 3D model is seems too squareish, I mean when you compare a 3D model with a real plane you might notice leading egdes of the vertical stab and stab roots are more sharp:

Photo below is earliest version of 9-12A missing countermeasure dispensers:

Nice angle to see what I'm talking about, also note CM dispensers slightly canted inwards:

Can You do something about it?!

These trailing egdes need some sharpening too, empennage of a Fulcrum is pretty complex:

Thank you.

Yes, the Fulcrum have a very complex and difficult fuselage with much details. Vekkinho- thank you for your pretty nice photos you`ve sent. I´ll correct it. Hope my wireframe will agree with it.

Best wishes,

TOM
