Axekav Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Hi, I have noticed that when you fly at higher altitudes you can notice this rectangular border between shaded and not shaded area. Can the distance between player and this border be increased to reduce this ugly looking effect ??? Best regards.
draconus Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 (edited) I see this issue in NTTR. Edited June 14, 2022 by draconus Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Axekav Posted June 15, 2022 Author Posted June 15, 2022 Yes. Look at the final part of the flight. Persian Gulf.trk
Flappie Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Thanks. It seems to happen at any place in PG, and also NTTR. I couldn't reproduce it over Caucasus. I'll try every terrain. ---

I think it's a block where the terrain mesh shadows (not objects) are applied and might have to do with visibility range setting but did not try to confirm. Might be done on purpose to save performance. Flappie Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Thank you. Another tester told me it might be related to visibility range. So I tried "Extreme" and the PG issue was unchanged. ---
