Programmers of ED please add "Edit/Add Coalitions" option into Mission Editor.

 

I just made a complex mission but I'd like to changing back some Counties at the Coalitions page.

 

BUT I CANNOT, because Coalitions Page appears only when i starting a new mission.

 

Programmers please make this "Edit/Add Coalitions" option works at Mission Editor.

Maybe you need to add some minor things in a couple of lua files.

Because this function produced errors and glitches in the mission files. We decided remove it.

 

I do not see big problem with making correct coalitions at the initial creation of mission.

May i suggest to add two new fictional countries "Blue" and "Red" in coalition list.

 

Both countries can have both all West and East weapons in their arsenal lists, the mission creator won't need to worry about countries name, and they won't need to worry about choosing countries because the weapon availability and balance issue. Also, I think this can actually help people to create their very own fictional war scenario. (something like Ace Combat story)

 

I also think Insurgent's weapon availability in ME should be increased to everything too because it also helps mission maker to create different scenarios. Just my thought .

I would go along with something like what CuteQA suggests.

 

When I am creating a mission I have a rough idea what I want it to be like. Just yesterday however, I was creating a mission and I thought "Hmmm I would really like this vehical to be orbiting the base..." and I found my fictional "insurgents" don't have it in there arsenal. So I thought I would just add a country to the list that did have it, only I couldn't. So what I have no is hours of work effectivly wasted as it's unfinished.

 

Also am I going blind or have you taken the encyclopedia out as well?
