Headwarp Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) Don't have 3 pos switch. Don't want to use 3 buttons. Don't want to use my mouse. Up/down option needed please and thanks, Razbam. Hitman-vCSG3 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 You can use “modifiers” to assign multiple functions to buttons/switches. I have an extra button near my stick trigger that I use as a modifier. This makes it convenient to double up functions on throttle controls.
Headwarp Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) Thanks but I don't need a tutorial about modifiers, I fully understand how that works. I also have enough buttons around my pit that I shouldn't need one. I have a perfectly fine momentary toggle switch I'd like to use for this purpose without a modifier. What would be cool though is if Razbam added a cycle option for the H20 switch, like there is for the flaps and like other devs do for their 3 position switches because they understand there are multiple input devices on the market. This is me letting them know it's missing. Vakarian Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 In the meantime you can help yourself with this https://github.com/Munkwolf/dcs-community-keybinds Basically, this adds bunch of these missing switch options to the controls screen so you can bind them to your preferences in regards to your simpit. 2

I figure there is likely a way to edit an lua file to accomplish what I want. I've copied and pasted a line or two before for another mod at some point I think. I'll take a look at the injector and see if I can make it do what I need. Thanks. Thanks for clarifying, I honestly didn’t know what those binds were for because of the wording. Now reading it and thinking of it like a logic switch, they do make sense. Ratcatcher Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) Hopefully you got it sorted. I only discovered them by chance as I'd only seen the water "on" "off" assignments. It wasn't till (in desperation) I started looking at the .lua in order to try and program the function myself I suddenly spotted them under H2O. Doh!
